The museum is built around the around the findings from the largest excavation in Stockholm. Our underground exhibition features 55 meters of the original 16th century town wall, a medieval graveyard and a war ship.

Our first day in Stockholm and we were just walking around and noticed it so went in. As it was free we weren’t expecting much so we were very impressed by how much there was to see. All the information was in English as well.

The museum opened at noon. Many school children present on field trips. There is no charge for the museum (which was unusual in Stockholm). The exhibits were well documented in English; however, for 20 SEK we rented the English headsets for the audio tours. Money...More
