I couldn't get in the building. Just saw the reception part. But watch out the plays in there. Because they have English subtitles for certain plays (not all of them). If you come across one of them, buy a ticket. (make sure they have English...More
This extraordinarily gorgeous Art Nouveau theatre by the waterfront can claim the title of the most glamorous building in Stockholm.
Dating from the first decade of the 20th century it had the services of renowned Swedish artists like Carl Milles contributing to its ornateness. Interestingly...More
It's definitely a beauty of a building. Great architecture and it's kept up very well. I would have loved to get into it and see inside, but from the outside, you can walk by, or it's on the stop of all the local tour buses.
This building is perhaps Stockholm's finest art nouveau and also the site of the absolutely most classical theater performances, from Shakespeare to Bergman. The house is also very beautiful waterside location and is the gathering place for sun-worshiping urban walkers.
There is a bundle of highquality swedish actors/actresses that started their career on Dramaten and it is a classic old theatre with all the ingredients for a visitor to have a real good time. Love the building both inside and outside

I wish to visit again Stockholm to see attractions i would like and diden't have enought time.
One of them is Royal Dramatic Theater, a very beautiful building, that i have seen only outside.
I hope you are more lucky than me.
With its high-end shopping facilities and Michelin-starred restaurants, Östermalm is definitely the poshest part of central Stockholm. Here you will find Stockholm’s most majestic residential buildings, a beautiful market hall from 1888 displaying gourmet foods from around the world and the Swedish Royal Dramatic Theatre with its awe-inspiring architecture. At night, legendary nightclubs make the perfect
location to observe the natives (and those aspiring to become natives of this exclusive neighborhood) in their natural habitat and to enjoy the latest produce of the Swedish house music scene.
