We visited the exhibition called 'Auschwitz KZ I-II' and I must admit it was impressive. Clear descriptions in both Swedish and English, interesting photographs displayed in an impressive hall.

At the moment there is a great exhibition with Sovijet posters. Movies and some propaganda posters from the 1920s and little more.. Recomended. I think on Mondays the visit is for free.. but it's worth paying for. Also you can have a nice walk from...More

We travelled to Stockholm just to see the Lars Lerin exhibition at Liljevalchs, and it was just fantastic! Lerin is a magician with watercolours, and his themes are covering lots of things that make you stop and think and also recognize. He's just marvellous !!!

Very close to the ABBA museum. Different art exhibitions. Currently the Swedish painter Lars Lerin. There is no AC, so during hot days it could be hard to walk around. After the entrance you have chance to buy soft drinks etc..

A popular art museum close to Skansen and Abba Museum. They only have temporary exhibitions – this summer the museum presents works from Lars Lerin. The exhibition seemed to be very popular, but we were not that taken by his watercolor paintings. The huge painting...More

Unfortunately while Liljevalchs Museum is being renovated and extended the Vårsalongen has been relocated to downtown Stockholm in a nondescript office building. Unlike previous years I found the selection of artwork on the whole to be monotonous, boring and in some case downright bizarre, surely...More

I was lucky enough to walk past Liljevalchs with a friend and having enough time to go in and have a look at the current exhibition, focused on Utopian Fashion. The 11 thematic rooms are beautifully done, offering interesting, outrageous and fun displays on the...More
