I was lucky enough to walk past Liljevalchs with a friend and having enough time to go in and have a look at the current exhibition, focused on Utopian Fashion. The 11 thematic rooms are beautifully done, offering interesting, outrageous and fun displays on the various impacts fashion have on our lives. Highly recommended in Stockholm right now!

Don´t miss this if you are in Stockholm during the winter 2015/16! Utopian Bodies – Fashion Looks Forward is an excellent exhibition (ends at Feb 7 2016) with amazing clothes, inventions and fantasy.

One of Stockholms oldest and most renowned art exhibits, with big skylights its almost like a large artists studio. The exhibits are focused on one artist at a time, and it is fascinating that you get so close to the pieces, no glasscases or even ropes. Entrance is so cheap it is almost for free.

We visited the exhibition called 'Auschwitz KZ I-II' and I must admit it was impressive. Clear descriptions in both Swedish and English, interesting photographs displayed in an impressive hall.

Variety of modern works, mostly by Swedes. Film, interactive and traditional forms. Quite interesting but no WiFi (which is needed for digital translation) and no translations of anything. The staff are also not very helpful. Not my favorite place in Stockholm but very inexpensive - just 10 SKR when I went, and free for students and children.

The main painting was large, depicting connections of figures from royalty, politics and business across history and the globe! and I believe this carries weight. The Stockholm card was my reason to visit

Visited the exhibition and had a very good experience. This 'Vårsalongen 2015' is a good vararity of different arts and ways of expression. This is more than value for money.

During our visit there was exhibition of paintings by Vera Nilsson. There were about 140 paintings. Much of her work was inspired by children (perhaps her daughter). Many paintings were also about African people. These, I guess, had something to do with the colonial era. There were some paintings of several landscapes. Overall a very interesting visit. We had to... More
