This museum centers on the lives of particularly farming people in Smaaland, but also the urban development of larger towns, and leads nicely into the overpopulation of the mid-1800´s and subsequent emigration to North America, which is the subject of the neighboring museum.

A placed filled with detailed and interesting Swedish facts. A visit at this museum helps a visitor to this region understand the allure of Scandanavia. The museum is also well layer out. A history enthusiasts dream or for anyone wishing to learn.
