Nice museum that gives the visitor an overview of the Swedish glass production history. I personally recommend that a visit to this museum is combined with a visit to Kosta so that you get to see real life production of Swedish glass.

Loved this museum with interesting displays, a wonderful gift shop , and a lovely Japanese restaurant. Have given and enjoyed Kosta Boda and Orrefors for many years, so it was really fun to learn more about their history.....

Sweden's glass tradition is renowned and the glass work shown at the museum represents the history glassmaking well. Even if you will be exploring the Crystal Kingdom, the museum deserves to be seen.

There´s a large room with glass objects through history, all the way back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. More unique perhaps is the large and beautifully exhibited unique pieces from around Smaaland.
