On our wonderful visit to Kiruna we booked 2 excursions with Kiruna Guidetur (snowmobile aurora and dogsled with lunch). Both trips were amazing. Of course the weather will be a factor on this type of trip. A cloudy night for the aurora expedition put paid to any chance of seeing the lights. Regardless, it was a fun evening out in... More

We booked three excursions with Kiruna Guidetur. We were staying at the Ice Hotel and these are the same tours that are offered there, and a bit more! Our first tour was the Swedish Christmas tour. We were guided by Emil and had the opportunity to taste a Swedish Christmas feast!!!! Later on during our stay we went to a... More

They took the time to meet our needs exactly and took the stress out of planning an adventure holiday both before we arrived and after. We did four trips with Kiruna Guidetur in total and all four were beyond our expectations. The guides themselves are very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we had a fun... More

We booked the overnight igloo stay with Kiruna Guidetur. The pick up was from their office in Kiruna, where we were provided with appropriate hats, gloves, balaklavas, shoes and snowsuits. We were then driven to Aurora Camp Kurravaara, which is on a lake (frozen at the time of course). We were provided with mulled wine and a delicious reindeer stew... More

We booked the Arctic Adventure with Kiruna Guidetur which includes snowmobiling with a guide and lunch in a hut. We first got all the warm snow gear on and their van drove us about 15 minutes outside of Kiruna. We were shown how to drive the snowmobiles before going on a short test track. Once the guide was sure we... More

As a South African family with limited snow experience and absolutely no snowmobile experience, we were excited but weary to go on this tour. After dressing up in the cold weather clothing, supplied by Kiruna Guidetours, we were driven by shuttle to the garage to collect our snowmobile. A few minutes of instruction were all that was necessary to learn... More

Our family of five went on the snowmobile tour today and the tour itself was fine. But when we returned two people including myself found that our coats were stolen. They give you big insulated winter gear to wear since you are out in the cold for 5 hours. My new CANADA GOOSE jacket worth $1000 was left as directed... More

Having seen reviews on TripAdvisor we booked all of our activities through Kiruna Guidetur about a month before our trip. Communication was efficient, and when we wanted to change an activity and clarify another, responses were quick and friendly. Our first activity was the aurora snowshoe trek, with Jock as our guide. He was great, within minutes we saw the... More

Wow, the northern lights were amazing the night we went. The snow mobiles were really fun. The equipment was safe and sufficient. The guides were knowledgable and friendly. The dinner was delicious. If you have any worries or reservations read on: 1. Snow mobiles are easy to drive! If you're worried because you've never driven one (like I was), worry... More

My partner and i spent a week in Kiruna and we wanted to do as many things as possible. We booked 3 tours with guidetur, and all were equally as good as each other in their own ways. 1. "Musher for a day" This was a 5 hour tour, about 24km round trip. We shared a dog sled and took... More
