Loved the hot/cold stream under the bridge. Must have been 20 people there. Great to just lie back and float around after visiting the thermal Wonderland. Good steps down to the water. Parking just off the roads edge is limited. No toilets or change rooms.

This is a great place if you are after a natural non-developed hot pool used by locals as well. Experience could vary from day to day, particularly after heavy rainfall, then it's colder. Unfortunately, as with all natural pools in Rotorua/Taupo you HAVE TO keep...More

We really enjoyed a dip in this amazing hot springs stream. We were there at about 1pm and there were only a few other people there, which was great, but when we got out my daughters bag had disappeared. We asked the other people who...More

Great spot to break up a car journey. Were there in what would be a busy day - but being there before 11am meant we had very few people there (found park right next to bridge and were the only people there for a while)....More

We stumbled upon this almost by accident. Hubby and the kids enjoyed this, but I was happy to sit nearby. Not many others whilst we were there, which was a bonus.

What a fantastic place. I heard about the spot from my brother, but clearly the word has got around. A couple of locals showed up, but it's not much of a secret when there are around 40-50 people in such a small space and cars...More
