Really fun staff who enjoy what they do, which really makes the atmosphere all the more better. We had Rob as our raft instructor who was great!! They are located a short walk away from the river and if you get there early you get to check it out. We also got a free printed photo from our raft at... More

There are lots of white water rafting options in the Rotorua area. We were staying at Okere Falls so chose Kaituna Cascades. The trip was just fantastic. We had 2 x teenage daughters with us and I was a little anxious for them, but they loved it, too. We were overturned on a little rapid (below the waterfall) and everyone... More

We've just had an amazing experience rafting at Okere Falls. Hamish Ridout was the most brilliant guide. Funny, informative, instructive and yet knew how to make us feel like we were still having an adventure holiday. The whole team made you feel welcome and loved you enjoying the experience. Everything about this trip was just so excellent. Do it. Do... More

Having never rafted before I was rather scared to start with the biggest commercially rafted waterfall. However, our guide Rob was an absolute legend, making us feel safe with his lighthearted banter. I was also impressed by how well prepared everybody was for all eventualities - three of us fell out of the boat at the bottom of the waterfall... More

Had the best experience with the Kaituna Team! Very fun but professional atmosphere. Felt very safe. Our instructor was awesome. I enjoyed the knowledge he had of the river! Would 100% reccomend to anyone and will defintaly be brining my Friends and Family along at some stage.

Me and my four friends booked a rafting tour a couple of days ago. It was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. The rafting instructor Blue was such a funny and cool guy. Big thanks, you made our day!

Awesome bunch of guys. Never done something this extreme before was quite nervous but our awesome guide Hamish had such a cool personality made me feel comfortable and ready for the big drops. Such a fun time will definitely be back for more.

Having no prior experience with rafting before I was a little nervous to be tackling a 7m waterfall. The guys here make sure you are so well prepared and are fully aware of what's going to happen at each stage of the rafting adventure. I'm so glad my boyfriend convinced me to book the level 5 rafting on the Kaituna... More

So, you don't do white water rafting to have a nice gentle float down the river and look at the ducks. You do it to get the adrenalin rush of going over the biggest waterfall you can go down anywhere in the world. These guys pioneered this rafting experience - they were the first and they are still doing it... More
