Hiking paths in the woods along the Roskilde Fjord, and if you're game for it, a chance to sleep in a shelter with primitive facilities and a fire pit for your meals. There are eagles in the area, so you could be lucky enough to...More

Had an epic run here on a summer Sunday. There are some signs but it’s possible to get lost. Fortunately there’s lots of people.

Although Roskilde offers a lot of places of interest you will probably appear there on the third day since Roskilde Fiord could be best visited from this forest and nice walks could take hours.

This could be the closest you would get to the Sherwood forest. You will not meet Robin Hood, but the many walkways, the beautiful view to the Roskilde fjord/inland and the wild and varied forest means, that many locals go here.
