Not another dusty regional museum with some boring exposition of local history. This museum has lots of interesting artefacts starting from pre-history, everything is very well organized, supported with modern interactive technologies. It gave a great overview of the significance of Roskilde for the Danish...More

Maybe we were there at the wrong day but it was really boring. There were only a few rooms open and this one's were small and boring and we had seen them in maybe 15 or 20 minutes.

Interesting rooms - one is set up as an old classroom, some of the children in the photos don't look too happy! Didn't know Royal Copenhagen was formerly Aluminia. Would have been excellent score but part of museum was closed in August 2017 for renovation.

Not the most exciting Museum, but certainly worth the entry fee and a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours browsing.

Museums have to be able to make a connection for the visitors, a connection with the past and past lives of ordinary people. This musuem does just that. A great place to feel the past and make that connection
