There was more in this little museum and shop than I expected--two rooms on two floors each with a few dozen samples of amber, magnified so one could really see the things trapped in it, plus some samples of lovely objects made from amber and...More

The "Pandora-compatible" beads are low quality and may not fit on your bracelet. We bought two - one worked, one not. Unfortunately, they were Xmas presents and we're now back in the US...so we're stuck. If you plan to buy something like that, make sure...More

I went here free with the Copenhagen Card as it was one of the only open museums on a Monday, and it's right next to Nyhavn. It's a nice collection of amber, but the stairwell is a winding death trap (much like many stairwells of...More

It is a bit of a stretch to call the rooms above the amber jewelry shop 'a museum'. The entrance is a modest 25 krone and that is about right. The view from the museum rooms was nice.

This is a very small museum (exhibit) but it has enough items of curiosity to make it worth a brief stop while waiting for a canal boat or just resting at the end of Nyhavn. Housed inside a building over a century old at this...More

This is a nice small museum with lots of fascinating information on Amber. There is also the largest bit of amber ever found located here. It is a great spot to visit if you have your copenhagen card as you get in free. M. CollectivelyME(dot)net
