Visited the Copenhagen Opera House for the New Year's Eve Concert by the Royal Danish Orchestra. The performance itself was spectacular - gave me the goosebumps... As for the venue, everything was pretty much brand new. I reserved a seat on the first level balcony...More

Take a boat trip and view this flamboyant piece of modern architecture from different angles. All cities need something like this

We booked a tour of the Opera house on New Year’s day and found it very interesting and informative. Great building and behind the scenes are very impressive. Will have to visit again to watch an opera! Well worth taking the tour.

One of the great venues of the world to listen to music. If there is something on, do not miss the visit. Give yourself time to get there if going by car. If boat an option, far easier.

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

from others I heard that the experience is brilliant, and that you must look at the repertoire and choose something you want to visit. Acoustics are unbelievable
