The Öresund Bridge feels very solid and reliable. It excels at connecting Sweden and Denmark. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it is the very best bridge between the two countries. Recommend wholeheartedly! Accept no imitations!

Well known to Scandic Noir Fans of “The Bridge”, crossing the Oresund Bridge was a definite on our trip to Copenhagen. Linking Copenhagen in Denmark with Malmo in Sweden, this magnificent bridge was built between 1995 and 2000 and stretches for over 8 km. It is a dual train and road bridge so we took the train from Copenhagen to... More

I'm really not sure why this bridge is here for a review. It's made of metal and you pay a hefty sum to cross it. I have to admit that I was a bit worried of the winds while crossing but that was not an issue. So yeah, if you need a fast way to get from Copenhagen to Malmö... More

we decided to take a trip over the bridge to Malmo after the aquarium. It was a bit of a last minute decision, but only realised after paying for the ticket we did not have our passports with us. We asked if driving licences would do. We were lucky but I would give advice if you do plan to do... More

Either if you stay in Sweden (Malmo, Lund...) or in Copenhagen, take the time to visit another country in few minutes tanks to this bridge, tunel. safe, modern, sustainable. To enter Danemark from Sweden, no problem. To enter Sweden from Danemark, be ready to show ID or passport. The train stops at Copenhagen airport and we have to get out... More

After centuries of conflicts across this body of water, this bridge and tunnel is a dream that took decades to realise, and transformed the 2 sides into one cross-border European region. The crossing costs a mere 89 DKK one way and takes you to Malmo central in 15 minutes. Much more than just an infrastructure.

Besides being a magnificent piece of engineering, the view in both directions alone is worth the trip. Driving towards Sweden you can see Malmö's new Turning Turso Tower and driving in the opposite direction you will see one of Denmark's famous off-shore windmill parks, planes landing at Copenhagen Airport and all the towers of the city of Copenhagen.

The bridge is a spectacular construction connecting Copenhagen and Malmo. The train is cheap and speeds across in minutes. Better to bus or drive across to enjoy more of the scenery and spectacle of this construction.

It is very expensive to cross the bridge in my opinion (about $110 US) but it is also beautiful and pretty cool to drive under the sea. Very quick way to go from Denmark to Sweden.
