I'd say it's current rating of 4 stars is very fair. It's definitely a good day out and a nice thing to do in Copenhagen, especially if you have kids, but it isn't the best aquarium ever and is relatively expensive. I went on a weekday and it wasn't very busy, which was nice, and the whole thing took me about 2 hours. There's a really cool outdoor rainforest area that I spent a lot of time at. You can also join for the presentations and they will do English translations if you ask, which is nice. Overall, I've been to nicer aquariums for sure, but it's definitely a fun thing to do in Copenhagen, and the biggest aquarium in Scandinavia.

Free parking, which is nice. Senior discount only applies on annual pass. Aquarium was a bit crowded, but that's to be expected when school is out. They have really good displays and it is a decent size. I have been to the aquaria is boston, tampa, new orleans and baltimore for comparison. This one is good, but there are no large mammals and no shows. I didn't see penguins either. The rain forest may be the best section and the otters the most fun. didn't eat this time: previously the wait and prices for food put me off. all in all, It's a good time.

Lovely! We thought this was a cozy and fun activity! So beautiful animals, the place looked very good and the animals seemed to be treated very well! The people who worked in the restaurant seemed confused and stressed though.. no good service, they just walked around and didn’t talked to any of the customers. We waited for a long time!

We celebrated company day drinks followed by a dinner and dance at the Blå Planet! It was a ok place to enjoy with colleagues! Dinner menu was definitely not worth for the money (do not know how much company paid for?). During our event it was closed for the public, so only our company colleagues were inside. We had the chance to see fish only at the areas where our tables were set-up, the rest were closed! We were accompanied from Cocktail to the Dinner through the Rain Forest which was a nice experience! The parking cost a fortune even after normal opening hours! I paid 400kr. for about 8 hrs. which was also in the evening-night! Firstly, when they host such private events, they should not charge from guests as the company has paid a huge amount altogether for the event! Secondly, it was held in the night, normal parking charges should not be charged at all!
