The area
Neighbourhood: Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

A little terrifying!

It just seems 'wrong' to have something nibbling on you BUT the experience was great after surviving the initial tickles. Feet come out butter soft.

The fish pedicure was reasonable, fun and didn't really tickle at all after the first few seconds. And even then it's just kind of bubbly. I was able to get same-day appointments, which was great. And the girls who worked there were awesome! I wear heels daily and this was the best pedicure I ever had. Can't recommend it enough. Also, it's called Heavens Spa, so that will help you find it easier! It's on a corner, kind of inside an outdoor corridor.

Fantastic Experience!!!!

I went here with my daughter, and we opted to have our fish pedicure in the downstairs that was quite tranquil... and we enjoyed a beautiful time together with a glass of champagne! Definitely worth it, and quite affordable also!

Unexpected Treat
May 2017 • Couples
We had never seen this before, so we decided to be brave and try it. It feels amazing, especially if you have been walking around and have tired feet. The owners really try hard to make sure you enjoy the experience. Our feet were " happy feet".

Hilarious memories for our family
Jun 2017 • Family
We had heard about the fish "pedicures" before, so 3 of us tried it (mom, 12 year old son, and 14 year old daughter).

To start, we washed off our feet with a hand-held shower nozzle (in a spa-like environment) and put our feet in plastic slippers.

Before you immerse your feet, the fish zoom to the top of the tank knowing they are about to get their next meal. I bravely immersed my feet and the tickling/vibrating sensation was so intense that I almost burst out laughing. We all managed to get through the first few intense minutes, then settled into a strange but fun experience. It was 100% worth the cost to have the experience as a family. My feet actually do feel smoother after the "fish feast."

We only did 20 minutes each, but 2 out of 3 of us could have easily enjoyed 30 or 40 minutes. It is entertaining and a fun family memory.

Fun Experience!
May 2017
This was good after walking all over the city that day. The fish nibble your feet and although very ticklish at first, I got used to it and enjoyed it by the end. It was fun watching the fish! My husband would have spent an hour there, but I was happy with the 15 minutes that we purchased.

Very friendly and serviceminded staff. We had fish spa first, then we were told that they had just expanded with massage as well. We tried foot massage and back/neck massage which was a great addition to the fish spa

Ummm, Well, Ummm I'm just not Sure About This!

We decided to try Fish Kiss because it was novel, unusual, and very busy inside. The men and women with their feet in these little pool being nibbled by clusters of sardine looking fish were amazing to watch. When in Rome..... We decided to try it ourselves.
The place was clean, modern, and offered 10-15 pedicure chairs with little plastic tubs of fish at each chair. For an extra $5 I could have had champage -- but a shot of something stronger was necessary.
Perhaps I was overly ticklish; maybe i had an abundance of dead skin (?) but the little fishies "hurt" as they gang nibbled my feet. Trying very hard to enjoy the experience, i found it impossible, and eventually cut my 20 minute session short. The staff was very friendly and tried very hard to have me put my feet back in the pool Thanks but no thanks. It was fun to do, made for great pictures, good stories, but I will keep to eating fish vs letting them eat me!

Weirdest, tickliest, most fun pedicure
Feb 2017 • Friends
My friend and I just happened to walk by this place and decided to give it a go. It was the strangest thing to ever happen to my feet. It tickled, and just generally felt unnatural, but some how in the best way. My feet did feel smoother afterward. I would do it again.
The person operating the spa was nice and ended up giving us a couple extra minutes because my friend took some time working up the nerve to put her feet in.
The one downside was having to go down the stairs of doom to get to the place where you wash your feet. They were steep and narrow and just generally made you feel like you would die with one misstep.
