I usually don't like these types of exhibits but i thoroughly enjoyed this one! They get the atmosphere just right so that you really feel like you're in a fairy tale! The exhibit is nostalgic and interesting and a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibition despite reading the other reviews. The animations were fun and interactive. It isn't a long exhibition which is good as you could get bored had it gone on longer. It is a good way to introduce Andersen's work to children and was a good throwback for adults. I like a bit of cheese so it... More

Very nostalgic because the Place talks about how Hans became well known with his books and loads more which are surprises :)

We walked for an hour trying to find this place (more due to our bad map reading skills than it's location). When we eventually found it, we wished we hadn't! Thankfully, it was free with our Copenhagen Card as I'd have been hugely disappointed if I'd forked out money for it. We were literally in and out in 15 minutes.... More

An okay way to spend a quick half hour but if we had paid separately to go in, I think we may have been a bit disappointed. Mainly his stories with a few animated figures. Younger children may enjoy the stories. We had heard them so it wasn't new. Attached to Ripley s.

Cute if your have a spare 20 minutes and a Copenhagen card, not worth paying an entry fee though. Walk through some dioramas of his works and hear stories narrated, as well as a brief history of himself. Would be great for children who have to patience to listen to the whole thing. Narrated in English,Danish or German.

Couldn't go to Copenhagen without visiting the patisserie here. Wow where to start, could easily have walked out with a handful of goodies but we restricted ourselves to one each

I'm so glad I followed my intuition and visited this place instead of following what others say on this site....I loved HC Andersen's fairytales since I was a kid so when I found out about this place i new I had to check it out . It brought back so many memories . Thank you!!! After a visit I went... More
