I came with my teenage daughter- we are both familar with many of H.C Anderson's fairy tales. Although the museum really just has some scenes and a bit of lighting with a narrator reading the stories, it is pleasant and an easy way to remember...More

It was a pleasant way to remember all his beautiful stories. Also useful because I knew very few things about Andersen's life.

You really get to know the history of Hans Christian Andersen without having to read loads, and before I went I didn't really know a lot about him but all those fairy tales you learned in primary school they are from here well worth an...More

I usually don't like these types of exhibits but i thoroughly enjoyed this one! They get the atmosphere just right so that you really feel like you're in a fairy tale! The exhibit is nostalgic and interesting and a wonderful way to spend a rainy...More

Fun and interesting for a look, good reads through out also. Nice history lesson. Buy the pass which give you access to all 4 places under the company so that you get som decent value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibition despite reading the other reviews. The animations were fun and interactive. It isn't a long exhibition which is good as you could get bored had it gone on longer. It is a good way to introduce Andersen's work to children...More

We walked for an hour trying to find this place (more due to our bad map reading skills than it's location). When we eventually found it, we wished we hadn't! Thankfully, it was free with our Copenhagen Card as I'd have been hugely disappointed if...More

An okay way to spend a quick half hour but if we had paid separately to go in, I think we may have been a bit disappointed. Mainly his stories with a few animated figures. Younger children may enjoy the stories. We had heard them...More

city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
