Stairs. Lots of them. Once you get to the top though you might want to be careful not to get BLOWN AWAY. Not by the view. By the wind. I just hung on for dear life because I'm tiny. Anyway, important information: If you are...More

Visited solo the first time I was in Copenhagen, mentioned this place to the friends I was traveling with and convinced them to make the climb. It rained hard during the early afternoon, so the tower was closed temporarily for the weather. We came back...More

We just walked in front of it because it was closed but it is a very nice building and a must see. There are benches where you can sit and admire it and rest from all the walking.

Only managed to snap a few photos outside the church as the tower was closed due to strong wind. We were there in the late afternoon. Try to make this your visit by noon time as the wind is stronger towards late afternoon.

Brilliant views. Better than the round tower. The final staircase is not for the faint hearted and is scary at times

Ove the look of this spire from the outside. Enjoyed the climb although at times a bit tight. View from the top (all 92 meters) spectacular. Amazing to hear the bells when you are climbing inside and an experience to climb the rest of the...More

This has to be one of the oddest churches I have come across. Do not walk up the tower if you dislike heights or suffer from claustrophobia! It is a very steep walk up the top and some very narrow steps. Once up the top...More

We came to the church mainly to climb the tower. There had been some fairly heavy rain just before we arrived. As a result, the tower was closed with a sign saying it is closed with rain, snow etc for safety reasons. The church is...More

Great place to visit but since the upper outer spiral walk is outside, it gets wet and slippery. Go early to try to avoid the crowds, because the outer walkway near the top can only fit a single person at a time. Incredible view and...More

The spectacular views of Copenhagen from the spire are definitely worth the climb. When you step out onto the outside stairs you will be rewarded with breathtaking sights. Hold tight to your camera because you will be scared you'll drop it! ,There are landings along...More

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
