A beautiful view of old architecture, in a culture rich area. Fun to look at, but you can also walk the 400 steps to the top and have a nice view.

Absolutely fantastic views of the city from the top. The inside part of the climb up is a bit harrowing and you often have to give way to folks going in the opposite direction. The outside staircase, on a good weather day, is brilliant! It...More

Worth making the trek to Christiania to go up the spiral stairs to the top of the church as the views are IMO probably the best in Copenhagen. You can visit the inside of the Church of our Savior where it tells you about the...More

This looks like something from a fairy tale or maybe a fancy cake decorator that can't be real - but it is. It was very cold the first week in November but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. The view it great but...More

I found this to be a great background picture from a distance but a good workout to walk up to the top.

The interesting thing about this place is the exterior spiral staircase that goes around the tower. Best seen from the ground as you only get a very quick glimpse of this if you are on a canal boat ride.

The tower has over 400 steps to climb with the remaining ones outside, not for the faint hearted but well worth the view. Inside of the church unusual and worth the visit.

Didn't climb the spire but looks a bit frightening and exciting. Inside church lovely but highlight is 17th century organ. When we entered organist was planning Sinatra My Way. Very strange but very cool. Definitely worth a look.

This must be the best place to have a city view. But when we were there, it was very busy and such a long line to get tickets and even to go up. So we skipped. Maybe next time.

Spent a bit of time in the church but mostly at the tower. Can't imagine you get better views anywhere else! Busy and hot climbing the 400 stairs but worth the view at the end.

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
