Climb the tower for breath-taking views of Copenhagen. Luckily for us it was a bright sunny day and we could even see Sweden. Perhaps going all the way is not for the faint hearted but if you can then you will be rewarded with an...More

This is the most incredible thing we did in Copenhagen. There is a lot and I mean a LOT of stairs to climb. 400 in fact. Firstly a mix of stone and then wooden ones inside the bell tower. Until u finally exit up on...More

Have to climb up this beautiful architecture for some gorgeous views of the city. Might be a bit unsafe especially when approaching the top due to the tight space & the railing to hold on as it starts to go lower then my waist. Unfortunately,...More

The past is breathing in the old Church of Our Savior who has not lost his charm, his identity has retained the fascinating charm of other times. There remains a must for many tourists an architectural jewel that is worth visiting.

This church gives you some of the best views for all over Copenhagen, but to the top walkway to the top of the spire is not for the faint of heart. The Church's main spire has recently been fortified, restored and repainted. The walkway all...More

So You read Jules Vernes "Journey to the Center of the Earth"? Yes, this is the site of his "Nephew test". So cross that off your list :) - And whilst your up there - take time to enjoy how beautiful Copenhagen Old Town is.

We didn't have time to climb the spire (not for the faint hearted!) but the Church was fascinating to admire from the ground - lots to see inside and out!

Highly recommended as part of the visit to Christianshavns area. Great view of the whole city. You can walk all the way up to the peak of the tower, with the strong wind and height, it can be quite scary. Suggest to wear good footwear...More

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

Sorry, I check to see if they have web-site, I can imagine how beautiful to hear their organ. We heard just a little of it.

Sorry don't know - I would contact the Church directly or perhaps the concierge at the hotel at which you are planning to stay.

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
