This is within walking distance of the city centre. Entry with the Copenhagen Card. Some hands on exhibits that can entertain you for up to an hour. Space movie was good - on very large screen half above your head - but not like the...More
The planetarium as such is not as huge as it looks from outside.
There are some displays that you could easily cover in around 30 minutes.
IMAX theatre is great as always and there is an introduction to the planets before the actual movie began...More
Visiting here after the Experimentarium was a bad decision. The Planetarium seemed dark and dated however the IMAX movie was the longest we have watched at any other Planetarium, consisting of three movies.
Since we were using the Copenhagen Card the fact we only spent...More
I loved the movie but the staff were very unfriendly - especially the male that let us into the theatre part and the exhibition was only in english in some parts. It was also a very small exhibition and where it was interactive it wasnt...More
To call the Tycho Brahe Planetarium would be overstating the fact somewhat. It's an exhibition about the solar system attached to an IMAX theatre. Neither my wife and I wanted to watch a film so burned an entry on our Copenhagen Card for not very...More
Looked promising from the outside, rapidly proved otherwise starting with buying tickets... my partner and I waited for 5 minutes for the guy on the till to finish his (personal) phone call which he ended with"..got to go, I've got a huge queue forming." It...More
I think we spent 45 minutes altogether, listening to a 'show' and looking around. We happened to be in the area and it was free with the Copenhagen card but otherwise I wouldn't have paid to go there,my 10 year old was bored.
I stopped by here as it's on my way home every night and was part of the Copenhagen Card. Other than that it was not worth the visit.
This place is perfect for young ones but as an adult better off giving it a miss....More
One of the most magnificent Imax cinemas we've ever seen. And with a very exciting selection of movies. A must See! I've noticed that some complain about that the exhibition area is a bit dated, and that's partly true. Although the kids found it interesting...More
The exhibition itself is mostly related to the contributions of Tycho Brahe (as you would expect), space exploration and a few interesting pieces related to space history and the space race. It is clearly geared towards young children, but as an adult with an interest...More
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
