I visited here with my brother on the only sunny day of our trip and found it to be rather pleasant. Quite expensive as much of Copenhagen is but it's been preserved really well and offers a nice insight into the Danish monarchy. We ate...More

We have been a number of times on Copenhagen but never visited any of the royal castles. This time we did, and chose Rosenborg mainly because of the crown jewels being on display there. However, the rest of the castle was much more interesting! You...More

The castle is quite nice and is comprised of three floors plus there is a separate basement area with the royal crown jewels. Each floor is filled with incredibly ornate decorations and artifacts. It reminded me of a much smaller and less ostentatious version of...More

Rosenborg castle is in the city centre, which I stumbled across while on my way from the nearby museum. I didn't enter, but I took a while walking around the gardens. Definitely worth a visit!

Booked timed visit online. Didn’t need to stand online. We enjoyed leisurely visit. It’s so packed with treasures that it’s a bit overwhelming. We decided to focus on a few rooms. Loved the gardens.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its

consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
