If not for the exhibits, then just visit to see the architecture and the surroundings. I would recommend everyone visiting to also take a stroll in the forest. There is a beautiful path along the creek (giber å) to the beach. The museum it self is very interesting and the permanent exhibit is definitely worth a visit as well as... More

Museum is easily accessible on the local bus about 40 minutes from the centre of town and is a short walk from the final stop. Museum is excellent and gives details of the early history of the area with interactive exhibits. A climb up to the roof to check out the view is definitely worth doing.

We went there with kids from 5 to 12 year and they all had a very good time and experience! Especially the new display about the first emigration to Denmark for many thousands years ago! It's is an very interactive museum and it is easy to spend a whole day there!

This place is a must see, I have been to many Museums over the years but this place was something else. The meet the Family exhibition is incredible I had shivers down my spine as I descended the evolution stairway and met the ancestors. We then went onto explore the other exhibitions which were equally impressive. It cost around £14... More

I've been to the old Moesgaard Museum for years. So I found out that they were going to build a new modern museum next door to the old one, I couldn't wait to visit it. And it was worth the wait. It's an impressive new museum, inside and out. It's a great day out for all the family, couples, friends... More

This is a really nice museum, worth the trip through the woods. My dad, my boyfriend, and I have visited here many times! Great exhibition of Danish history on the basement floor! Also really great special exhibitions once in a while! The terracotta army exhibition was really well done!

Impressive variation in exhibits and methods of showing the artefacts. Aimed at pleasing both children and adults. Exhibits span stoneage to Vikings and is worth a detour.

Firstly, just looking at it from the outside, this museum is amazing! Coming in it offers great exhibits from viking era, evolution and more. Of course the exhibits are changing. But it is definitely worth a visit, no matter what is on display.

It's a really exciting museum where you get used all the senses. Very good for kids too, as you can and need to touch many objects. When we were there, there was an interesting special exhibition about Gladiators and the year before there were Chinese terracotta warriors on loan from China
