Visited with a friend from England. Great that there were a lot of descriptions in English. We were there 2 1/2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a lot to see. Lots of places to eat a packed lunch in good or bad weather.

We had an interesting visit with lots of good information. It was fun to actually be inside a submarine and see what it was like to live there back then. I also like the fact that younger children have free admittance as this is a...More

Quite an exhibition, lot of things to see. Every bunker has a theme around the cold war. Impressive, but too bad a lot is in Danish.

It gets under your skin - the closeness in time and distance - of the cold war. Great place to feel it - with impressive collection of submarine, tanks, rocket launchers, etc. Great place in this out-of-the-way area.

Blokes and kids will certainly love this place. It's so hands on and very interesting. I couldn't believe I was allowed to go inside a submarine, sit on and rotate a gun battery and play with buttons and handles ha ha. The history is fascinating...More

Housed in a former military base, this museum is great fun for anybody interested in recent/military history. The theme of the museum is the cold war, in which the site itself played a part - it was here the Russian ships carrying missiles to Cuba...More

This attraction was one of the main reasons we came to this part of Denmark, and it certainly didn't let us down. The museum is baesd in what was a Cold War Danish coastal artillery battery. 4 Coastal guns, a command bunker and some anti...More

If you're interested in the cold war there are some really cool things to see at this museum. There is a submarine and a couple of fighter jets (an old MIG and a Swedish Draken) at the museum which I for one found really interesting....More
