since it's renewal, the museum includes pieces from the new archaeological sites around Volos and still houses the older ones, like "the tomb of the little girl", small yet full

It is a very interesting place with many information about the region's history.It would be better though if you took a guided tour.Anyway,visit it and you won't be disappointed.

My friends didn't want to go to a museum, but I persuaded them to follow. They did not regret. It is a very intersting museum with findings from long before Christian era. It is all very nice presented.
