Moni Island Beach

About
This beach on the northern end of the uninhabited Moni Island is known for its free-ranging wildlife like deer and peacocks—we hear that they are quite friendly, too! Expect clear waters and beautiful views; the beach can be rocky along the shoreline though, so water shoes are recommended. You can also rent a sun lounger for the day, as you enjoy food and drinks from the buzzing beach bars. The beach is a 10-minute caique ride away from Perdika; these local boats will wait till they're full before departing. You can also take an all-day boat cruise that typically stops at other beaches in Aegina and Agistri. – Tripadvisor

    Don’t miss it
There isn’t much to do or see in Perdika although the seafront is perfect to berth a yacht since the main harbour in Aegina is practically always full. Berthing in Perdika is easy and convenient with a good selection of restaurants along the seafront. However, a visit to Moni island is an absolute must. The €6 return trip in a caique takes just a few minutes. There is a lovely bar overlooking the clear water and sandy beach. Great selection of cocktails, drinks and light food at slightly higher prices than elsewhere. (Understandable, due to the logistics involved) Pleasant chilled background music. A choice of sunbeds and poufs for lounging. BUT the main attraction must be the abundance of wild peacocks and deer roaming around the beach.

    Worth visiting. Must for kids
Nice experience. Interaction with the animals are a huge bonus. Renting a SUP made our stay more fun. Highly recommended. I think it is better to go after 14:00 when the yachts and boats start to leave the bay, the weather is cooler and the beach less crowded

We visited as most guides list the beach as the best in the area. The ferry over was fun and the staff very nice.
The pictures do not reflect the narrow beach and the run down bar area and toilets.
There is a large flock of peacocks that whilst nice to look at are not nice when they surround you if they think you have any food. DO NOT feed them,
The bar was yet to open when we arrived but was scruffy and well worn . Sun beds at €20 per pair was very steep so we did not bother.
The views after quite a climb were lovely but all in all not a visit we would repeat.

Moni is a beautiful uninhabited island with wild deer and peacocks roaming. October was the perfect time to visit as it was really quiet but still hot enough to swim in the crystal clear sea.

What a beautiful island! You can spend the day here just chilling on the sunbeds. There is a bar which does snacks also.

The beach itself was beautiful but the beach bar staff, especially the mid age thin lady was extremely unpleasant. Her rudeness made us avoid spending our money at the beach bar, what a pity !
