Well you can order a taxi by yourselves. However if you just wish to do this and tour the site and museum by yourself I would pre book a taxi online with a reputable company. I find it cheaper this way as once in port you will pay a premium. The site is well laid out and does have information boards at each point of interest so you can easily do the tour yourself no problem. Last time we went however we booked a tour which organised the taxi transport for us. You can see the reviews for our guide which runs the Olympia tour - Guide me in Greece Tours by Vasilis. That cost us £160 in total including taxi and we paid our own entrance fee, with Vasilis, the guide, meeting us at the ticket booths to help buy them. We are glad we did it this way as the tour was personal to just us, we got to ask all the questions we wanted, go at our own pace and he helped really visualise the site. We felt we enjoyed it a lot more this way and understood all that went on. He then also took us round the museum to help us understand the more important parts of the museum. Well worth it, if you are considering doing a tour, I would do so as we found it greatly improved our experience of Olympia. Probably saying that, this was because it was a personal tour to us. If we were in a big cruise tour, i don't feel it would of been as nice and it would of cost the same as well! Hope you enjoy your cruise and visit to Olympia whatever you do.
