My wife and I visited the museum on an arranged tour. Our guide Joanna was very knowledgable and passionate about the artefacts. Well worth a visit.

On entrance you have to bye an integral ticket, including site, this museum and also Olympic Games museum, that closes at 15.00, so visiting it is problematic. Go to Archaeology, as here you see the Praxiteles sculpture - incredible chefs d'oeuvre.

We will be coming from the cruise port of Katakolon and are debating between registering with a tour group to take us up to the ruins or just taking a taxi and figuring it out. Any advice from past cruisers?
