This lake, which is fed with salt water from the sea, is a charming, picturesque and tranquil place out of season and particularly late in the day. The nearby Heraion is also very well worth a visit.

The region of Loutraki - Perachora is a very important tourist destination especially for summer and weekend visitors from the Athens metropolitan area. It is a corner of heaven, where the silent of the landscape relaxes you.

Beautiful place for swimming, waterskiing, fishing, relaxing and sunbathing. Not to many people, in the weekend a little bit busier but still very nice. Plus, showers so you can rinse the salt of your body.

First of all it is kindly clarified that Lake Vouliagmeni at the outskirts of Vouliagmeni (Direction to Sounion) and Lake Vouliagmeni of Corinthia (also known as Lake of Ireo or Lake Iraiou) in Perachora are not the same place. In fact they have a distance...More

Would recommend! Refreshing swim, peaceful and tranquil. 12 euros entry. When you stand still at the edge of the lake small fish will nibble on your dead skin cells. It was so ticklish I could only last about 30 seconds each time, but the seasoned...More

As a change from swimming in the sea this is a very pretty spot with quite dramatic scenery. Out of season I think it could be delightful, but as the sunbathing area is fairly small it rapidly gets filled up when there are a lot...More
