This is a small museum with some very interesting artefacts', The Kouros is very impressive but although the museum is housed in two separate buildings there is not a great deal more to see compared to other museums. The museum is organised very well with...More

I have been to this museum many times in the past, but not since the renovations that were completed a few years ago. The main sculpture building now has fewer pieces on display, since some have gone to the archaeological museum in Pythagorio. That is...More

Tickets are cheap so we decided to check this out. It's a small museum, but there's lots to see. Seeing the Kouros in person is impressive. Would recommend but nothing exceptional and of great value in archeological sense.

Perhaps no museum has the size and quality of the collections at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. But this one is superior in interpretation of their noteworthy collections. This small, unpretentious museum is not even well marked. You can see it in an hour...More

Came to Samos on a day trip from Kusadasi. Spent a nice hour or so at the Museum. It's not very big but packs in a lot of interesting stuff, and only cost a few Euros.

One should visit this important museum and be amazed from the kouros of Samos. It is an enormous statue. The museum is in the centre of the city next to the town hall and the great church of Sant Spiridon.

If you have historic interest, don't miss this museum in Samos Town. Together with Pythagorion Archaeological Museum and The Temple og Hera this museum gives an interesting story of the old Samos-history. Samos is not only wonderful beaches and great nature.
