Located in the city center huge square with named Aristotelus Square (what a surprise!) the statue is looking too small for a such huge neibourhood. Anyway, it is a great location and everybody strolling in thr town must look at this great GREEK philosof.

Aristotle was a Great Greek man and visiting his statue is a must when in Thessaloniki. This is an interesting site.

I find the statue is to small! He was a big men, Greeks are very proud of him. Tip: hold his big toe for a second and you will feel how the wisdom and knowledge flowing from him to you. ;)

Grab a book and start reading by Aristotle feet. You’ll feel like you are back in time as there is also a koulouraki cart seller form the Byzantine times.

I don’t know why people like to rub the toes of statues, but poor old Aristotle has a very shiny left toe.

Aristotle is the famous greek philosopher, tutor of Alexander the Great. He was born in Stagira, a village of Chalkidiki but became famous for his doctrine in science and philosophy.
