The statue sits near the water's edge in Arisotelous Square. The statue is posed in a sitting position, not the usual standing position I'm more familiar with.

It is nice to know that Aristotle was born in this part of the world and is one of the most recognised Greek philosophers of the world history but i wonder if this modern statue reflects this personality.

Another great man of ancient times celebrated with a monument in Thessaloniki. A great philosopher, his thoughts were later improperly used when he was made a demigod by the christianized Roman Empire, so becoming precepts... Nice monument in the square of the same name.
