Better than ghis is the design and the lighting which was great. Spend more than an hour and did not feel tierd. The last hals was not my kind of staff but still ok

The exhibits of the museum are not so many yet. However besides the style of the exhibition which is excellent, the building in itself is worth seeing. An architectural beauty.

Similar to the Archaeological Museum, it's not that large. we were able to see most of it in a few hours. Lots of massive pieces here and impressive displays. Not crowded. Would recommend.

The period of the 'Greek Middle Ages' remains quite unknown but that museum knows how to make this time exciting; very clear comments; explanations easy to understand ; very well presented objects; friendly staff; don't miss that museum if you want to undersatnd where this culture, country and people come from; accessible tu wheelchairs

I don't know and cannot understand the negative reviews (thank God they are few) about this absolutely stunning museum. As a museum lover I think this is (and I think also rewarded) as one of the very knowledgeable museum in Europe. Most of the exhibitions aren't protected by glass, so you think you can even touch them, it is easy... More

If you have time for only one museum I would pick this one since it is great about Byzantine culture (there are many archaeological museums). Presentation is first class. The first 6 rooms are the best. 4 euros and 8 euros for a combined ticket (saving 2 E).
