Mostly: religious art, clay skulptures, tombs. Good location, close to many other museums and landmarks. Needs maybe something extra to really explain the meaning of the icons to the people who don't know much of the pictured saints or stories they represent.

Probably the best Museum in the city. Modern and well organised, guided tour recommended unless you know the subject. Gives you the feeling of the past Glory of the Empire. Many precious objects on display, including home ware, jeweller, many icons of great value.
