Its worth taking a photo there quite breath taking. It is well preserved and very eye catching. A selfie stick is needed!!

Amazing place with many arches, probably over 50 - all are with different sizes. Thanks to this aqueduct, the water reached to the highest point of the castle in the past.

cool architectural marvel. in the heart of the city, you can't miss it. good pictures of it can be taken from the castle.

We had driven under the aquaduct a few times so so decided to walk to the base and then onto the castle.

Full of mystery and a lot of history but a little crowded. I think more pedestrian streets would be useful. An imposing structure that can not leave you indifferent. f you get to Kavala you can not miss watching this city monument.

After visiting the Filippi archeological site we had dinner in Kavala and the aqueduct was easily seen.
