Turn into a rather small and innocuous side road half way down the strip in Acharavi. The drive is rather testing with many twisting hairpin bends. The road extends 906 metres/ 2900 feet above sea level and takes about an hour or so. the drive...More

Mount Pantokrator is beautiful, we drove to Perithia and decided to walk from there but unfortunately we got lost! There are no signs to help you and if we hadn't bumped into a french couple with a map we would have ended up miles away.Well...More

The drive up is a fun sequence of winding single lane roads, hairpin bends, and entertaining traffic jams through the hillside villages. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded by spectacular views, precarious parking and a sweet little monastery with a massive radio mast dominating...More

It is a fair trek to get here and I wouldn't advise going in a large car as parking is just on the narrow road up to the church. There's a restaurant, restroom and gift shop at the top and the views are amazing. What...More

If you want to walk the whole way, it's probably best to go from Barbati. Make sure you take a map with you because some of the paths are pretty well hidden. It took me 5 hours in total, starting and ending at ipsos beach.
