This clock is pretty interesting and it's the most common "meet point" in Ioannina city. But according my opinion most interesting and beautiful than this clock,is the hidden and not very known park behind it.Stunning view above the town and the lake.Peaceful, with big trees and full...More

You will be passing this clock on your way to the lake. Esp. during the night where you can see the lights.

This clock was built in dedication to an Ottoman sultan’s jubilee. You can still see the Ottoman imperial insignia on it. However from a sight vale perspective it’s not something really fascinating .

It is a simple clock tower from the time of the Turkish occupation. It was a gift to the local ruler for his 30th coronation. It is a nice piece in the park that displays various monuments to the Greek people. Also a good meeting...More

The clock tower may be iconic but it is clearly nothing special. You would not come to Ioannina just to see it and if you missed it you would not have missed much.

As a clock tower, there is little to say about it - a regular clock tower, with some touches: a bell on top and inscriptions in arab script. The thing is: visible from the main road right in the town center, the clock is both...More
