Visited both the castle and the museum. Walked up to the castle from the car park at the bottom of the hill which wasn’t too strenuous. Lovely views from the top and plenty of photo opportunities. The museum at the bottom was worth the 1.50€...More

When visiting villages like Aslipio, you get start feeling the inland of Rhodes and its beauties. Walk freely among the alleys with the traditional homes and climb towards the castle to enjoy the view.

We cycled up to Asklipios from Pefkos (yes, it was really hot and steep) - the roads are good but steep in places so best to be fit and ready for the heat, on the way up! Using a hire car is a good option....More

Take you're using a car. take the south main road to Katavia, right turn just after village. DONT take 'scenic road' in village, a good walk up but not suitable for cars.
