I'm "medical" and this is allegedly the birthplace of modern medicine. It's on 3 tiers so no good if you are infirm/in a wheelchair but otherwise it's definitely worth a visit. The only downside is that they could do with putting up more information plaques...More

When on Kos you have to visit Asklepion. It is a very nice historic site. Famous for Hypocrates. Worth a visit

A historical site well worth visiting , we went as a group and had a very informative and amusing guide. It's well worth the climb up the steps for the view.

Short trip from Kos town by bike. Uphill to go but not too dramatic. We did it with a 7 year old. She suffered a bit but enjoyed it. Good news is that it is all downhill to come back! Spectacular view from the site....More
