This was first on my list to see on the island of Sifnos. On my way back from Platis Yialos, I was going to drive to Faros and walk to the church. However, I saw a sign just outside of Platis Yialos indicating the road to Chrissopigi. So glad I went this way. I was able to get multiple views... More

Beautiful white church on rocky outcrop. Short walk along a coastal path from Faros- around 15 mins in total (No need to drive!), with great views! Great to do on an evening stroll. Also there's an amazing restaurant in the bay next to Chrissopigi, 'Giorgos Lebessis', thought this name isn't clearly marked (or is in only Greek)- it's the one... More

One of the best places in sifnos. Great monastery. Crystal clear waters. Perfect beach. A little bit hard to approach but the path from faros is an enjoyable trail with great view. Overall? Stunning!!!

Traveling to past, The monastery is situated on a rock which is cut off from the mainland by a narrow water channel . A small bridge connects the mainland with the rock and allows access to the monastery. According to tradition, the years of privateers , nuns lived in the monastery of Chrissopigi They left during a pirate raid on... More

Something different like being between two worlds. Serenity, tranquility , faith in god in early summer and September. Deep water and swim into the deep blue with many swimmers in August .

A bit hard to access if you go by public transport, so better wear shoes. Crystal amazing waters and wild landscape, not much shade though, so be prepared. Do not miss!

This wonderful white monastery in the island of Sifnos stands at the south-eastern part of the island . It is famous and many couples come here for their marriage. In the interior of the church you can see old agiographers and from the outside you can have an incredible view. It is very nice to see the sunrise from this... More

This old monastery between the rocks and the sea creates the perfect scenery for each visitor of the island of Sifnos. The interior of the church has historical interest because of old agiographers. You can also swim on the rocks close to church or in the nearby beach 'Apokofto'. Unforgettable experience!
