This was a stop during a half day catamaran tour. We were there late Oct. The water was very cold!!! I almost didn’t do it. Thank goodness I realized soon enough (the boat stopped for 30 mins only) that this was a once in a...More

When translated from Greek Tourist Board marketing speak into plain English the Hot Springs is an altogether different experience than you might imagine. Hot = Luke Warm (26 degrees to be exact. Around the temperature of a bath you've been sitting in for too long)....More

In the framework of boat cruises, we had a stop here. It was nice experience swimming near the active volcano.

If you are on a boat trip that goes to the hot springs it's defenitely worth swimming there. Be careful though. I had to bin my swimwear afterwards as it turned brown (from white). So if you don't have an expensive white swimwear, go for...More

The water is not hot. Not sure if the slightly warm patches are the 'hot springs' or simply just the result of hundreds of tourists that are ferried in every 10 mins taking a wee in the water.

We've been at the hot springs because we booked a boat trip that departed from the Port near Fira and went to Nea Kameni first, where the volcano is located. We stopped there to visit the place for about 1,5 hours and then we went...More

This was part of a 5 1/2 hour boat trip so thankfully wasn’t a specific trip. It’s relatively unimpressive- and as many other reviews state, will ruin white bathing suits and silver jewellery. We had a 20 minute stop at this destination as part of...More

Despite really mixed reviews, I enjoyed the day trip with the volcano walk, hot springs and sunset on the boat. The hot springs are warm, and many tourists move through, but it is still interesting to see. Highlight was the boat trip around the islands,...More

I highly caution those who want to go to the Hot Springs. They are not hot, just mildly warm. They do stain your clothes as many other reviews have stated. There are so many amazing things to do in Santorini that if you have a...More

We have just come from beautiful Naxos, so we’re very underwhelmed with Santorini on the whole. To try and make the most of our time we did a day trip that included the hot springs to escape Fira. It was okay for a dip (most...More

We visited the spring as part of an island cruise. It was on a bay in the new volcano, which isn't much more than just a low pile of lava rock. None of us on the boat was interested in swimming in the water so...More

There are so many other great hot springs. This place was not worth it. It ruins your bathing suit, it is very crowded, and is not that cool.

Thanks for the reply. I am traveling with my 7 year old who may not be able to swim/dive. Is there a boat facility from cruise to the hot springs and back?
