Guys I guess it recently just changed property, because its name on folder was Naboo. But photos reflect it and it was on black beach.
In a sentence: its management has been embarrassing!
Prices for umbrellas and seats were NOT written anywhere, just erased. I asked a waiter who said it was FREE when eating at restaurant on beach side ; then once sorted down they ran after me to ask me to pay 10€. Then again another waiter arrived speaking to its colleague IN GREEK (not to be understood), then told me I had to pay 15€ indeed!
After several discussions, no way, I had to pay .
Incredible, for sure amateurs on the loose.
Suggestion : do not trust them.

Arrived at mesa pigadia by quad bike, the approach road is a bit rough but fun and can be negotiated with a normal car as well. The road ends in a little tavern which is ideal for a fresh fish lunch. When you reach the beach you can walk left to black beach and a few umbrellas, there are also loungers and umbrellas at the taverna with a small charge. Walking right you go past some greek beach cave houses to an isolated section of beach under the cliffs. You can note that whilst we were on the beach there was at least one significant cliff fall, these cliffs are unstable ad best to sunbathe nearer the water than the cliff! Beach use includes topless and nudist as well as normal bathers so if shy best to stay nearer the taverna. Many sail boats and dive boats head for the far end of the beach for snorkeling and swimming/diving. The seabed is stoney not sand as is the majority of the beach itself. We enjoyed the tranquility of this beach and returned a few times.

This is the place where the locals go, and that should tell the whole story. Run by a lovely family, you can get home made stuffed tomatoes, moussaka, and barbequed fresh fish. Yes, they catch their own fish on the lake and cook it for you. Does it get better than that?
This is an interesting drive down from Faros, although fully worth it. Definitely recommended.

Out of the three famous beaches (Red, Black and White), the White beach has the easiest access but it is not the best. Good place to park your car and then take a boat taxi to visit the Red Beach or walk to the Black Beach.

Also called Black Beach this is a neat place to visit. To me the beach itself is nothing as it is all stones but the water is clear and clean and the cliffs have caves hollowed out where the fishermen used to keep their gear. Great for photos. Down the left of the beach is a newish restaurant called Akrotiri beach bar which is very nice. Free parking and use of the sun beds for patrons. We only had coffee here but the service was good and friendly. Nice views as well

The road down to the beach is a bit of a dirt track so take care, places to park at bottom. A charming little beach, beds 7 euros for 2 with an umbrella in front of Mesa Pigadia Taverna. There is a little stone jetty, handy for getting into the sea. As everywhere on Santorini it's safer to wear wet suit shoes. We snorkelled and this is the only beach in Santorini where we saw much, lots of fish amongst the rocks. It's also interesting to watch the boats going past. There is a place to hire kayaks on the beach. The Taverna is definitely worth a try.

We took a boat from the red beach on a day with moderate wind. AFTER the small boat departed the sailor told us we won't stop at the white Beach because of the waves. We didn't argue, he has right about the waves. What I loved about the boat ride is the fact that we saw the coast between the red and the black beach, which was quite diverse, the cliffs changed colors from white, to yellow, to a reddish brown, to dark gray ... it was very interesting.
We got off the boat on this Black (Mesa Pigadia) beach and we paid 7 euros for 2 sunbeds because the "beach" is made of pebbles, and not the small kind. So that was the most expensive price we paid for sunbeds in Santorini and I would say it was not worth it because there are no toilets there, not even a change cabin, I didn't see any place where you could buy a bottle of water and overall we did not enjoy the experience that we had on that beach. The water wasn't appealing, there was a lot of dried seagrass floating, my husband tried to snorkel there but he didn't see anything interesting, as the visibility was very low. We spend about one hour reading and taking some photos and then we returned to the red beach by boat. I also noticed that older people had difficulties getting on and off the boat because of the waves balancing the boat and because it was difficult to walk on the rocky shore.
If you decide to go, you don't have to get off the boat and remain on the beach, you can just return in the same boat.

This restaurant has a magic location, lovely food and one of the best beaches in all Santorini, with new umbrellas and sunbeds. The furniture is nicely renewed even if it keeps the old authentic design. Loved the architecture and filter staff atmosphere.

Drove here from Kamari for a break from the pool. Decided not to use the sunbeds (nice and exclusive area) since we only stayed for a couple of hours, hence we walked some hundred meters away. It was quite OK to lie on a towel, however I would have payed for a sunbed if I was staying the whole day.

Advice: the «Heart» roadside taverna just 5 min away by car is a nice place to have dinner afterwards. It has a great view of the sunset.
