We never entered inside because it was closed, or, well, I thought it was closed and not something you can enter in. It's nice from the outside, typical, one of many very similar towers on Naxos.

Funny thing is this is the first attractions after we landed in Naxos. We visited the site with a Canadian family. Upon reaching the site, we saw the Canadian family who were still in their car. I guess they were disappointed as well. We did a minor stop round the tower but it was closed at time of our visit.

First of all, when hearing about "Towers" in Naxos, do not have in mind the stereotype Aglosaxon/Normadic tower. Towers in Naxos are coming from the era when Venetians were ruling on the area and they are tall square buildings. I don't know why TA has separate this tower in particular, as all of them are similar on the outside. I... More
