After six times in the island, I think I've visited (almost) all beaches. This one is my favourite for the 'intimate' feeling (avoid august), and the beauty of rocks diving back in pristine waters. 35/40 minutes by foot from Ano Meria (beautiful walk, the arrival...More

Sure, you could be soft and take a boat to Livadaki - but you would miss out on the gorgeous views offered by the steep 50-minute hike to get here from Ano Meria. Either way, it is a lovely, undeveloped spot. Bring your own water...More

We really enjoyed swimming in this amazing g beach. We reached it by boat (10 min) and had the pleasure to swim in crystal clean blue-green water.

Like all the other beaches on Folegandros, this is a beautiful beach (pebbled), with crystal clear waters. A beautiful place to spend an hour or two.

Caught the boat here from Agali. Euro 10 return - great trip in along the steep cliffs, with a drop-off point at Agios Nikolaos both ways - that would enable you to sample both beaches in one day for the one boat fare. A few...More

Along with katergo I think these are the two best beaches on the island. Amazing place. Crystal clean, green waters, pebble beach, nice well shaped rocks for sunbath or jumping onto water and accessible via boat or hike. A must see destination!

We had this strenuous hot hike down a donkey track from Ano Meria in the hot sun. We were worried we'd run out of water climbing out. But once we got there we were pleasantly surprised that it is served by a reasonably priced water...More
