Incredible views and unique experience. Make sure to wear sneakers for all the steps going up, and do it before noon heat.

Even though you have to walk about 350steps the view makes you forget it. When you get to the top you feel blessed. Dont forget to bring your own coverup clothes otherwise you have to put something that is provided outside the monastery

I chose to drive as I wanted to explore the entire island, but walking would be great (just be prepared with water as it’s hot in July). I specially chose Amorgos because of the church. It’s incredible. There are no photos inside the tiny little...More

Really amazing monastery, totally worth visiting, just mind the hours you visit, as those stairs are killers in the top heat!!! So, go early or late and bring water!!! And get some treats for the monastery cats that own the place at atop! :)

a decent walk up but more than accessible. The history shouts out at you and how they built it is amazing. Great welcome. Don't forget to cover your legs and arms otherwise you will wear some provided. A must see

It's so strange to build a monastery at this place. It's like something from inside a computer game.

The path is really beautiful and easy to climb. Deep blue waters can be seen downward. During the open hours the Monastery can be visited and a liquor and a glass of water is offered by the monks. Nice experience!
