People say that is the most beautiful Chora of Cyclades! I can't confirm that but I can say that the Chora of Amorgos is very beautiful! Very picturesque, cozy, traditional and with nice people! Visit the small tower and enjoy the view from up there!

One of the most cozy places I have ever been to! The streets are so small and everything looks fantastic. Typically Greek style with white houses and blue doors surrounded by colourful flowers, cats sleeping in the shadows and old Greek people smiling in their ports. There are lots of small restaurants & shops, and also some bars and cafes.... More

This is a typical Greek village that isn't too commercialised. There are some restaurants and bars, a few shops selling souvenirs, but mainly local handmade items, not the generic plates etc. that you find on the bigger islands. A walk up to the lod windmills is worth it for the views, and there is an old tower overlooking the village,... More

Chora amorgou is among the best "choras" in Cyclades. walk around the narrow streets, enjoy the view to Naxos and Small Cyclades. Go there for breakfast, lunch dinner, drink.everything is special.the night is cold.take chambers with you in case you stay longer

This is the capital town of Amorgus and is set high up in the hills which means it is exposed... Chora is a winding labyrinth of whitewashed houses, shops, and bars with windmills alongside. They certainly worked overtime while we were there as the Meltemi, the strong blustery wind that rattles down the Med from the north in July and... More

This is a must-see place on Amorgos island. This is the place where you can get a true feeling of the traditional Cyclades life style - traditional white&blue houses, churches, narrow white streets, traditional tavernas, old ladies and gents dressed in black. We walked through the city admiring the beautiful places and we had a very tasty lunch in one... More

Very beautiful and traditional village with many good places to eat or drink a coctail. Definitely worth going while staying in Amorgos.

The most beautifull Chora in the Cyclades as far as i am concerned. No cars are allowed in, the alleys are white, no plan, they just mix, and chance direction, up, down. You need to get lost in this place. Small yards, tables of local houses mixed with traditional cofeeshops (kafenia). Small bars, small restaurants, tavernes, sweetshops, souvenir shops, all... More
