The location of the converted factory by the sea was perfect Unfortunately the museum was more suitable for school visits with hands on practice with experiments than a museum with a wide collection I am lucky and have been to some vast collections but as...More

This museum has a lot of good and interesting information about Cretan flora, fauna, and geology, as well as some other specialities, like a huge amount on dinosaurs and a volcano-simulator. It seems as if it needs a bit more upkeep; possibly it is beginning...More

Recommend this museum after Archeological Museum as it continues to offer history of Crete up to and including war years. What a find. Thought we'd be here for 2 hours but ended up looking around for 3 hrs. Thankyou.

Interesting place. You can see many things like the animals and the plants of Crete. The ticket is really too expensive for a family to pay!

Very nice interior and location. Very interesting for kids as well. Try the earthquake simulator and the "mirror" experiments.
