Refurbishing a mosque, to a beautiful orthodox small church, is a good touch. Don't miss the small gorgeous catholic hidden inside the building on the opposite side of the main street.

Beautiful interior with stained glass, marble tiles, pillars, etc. No pews, some chairs for the elderly...light a candle and say a prayer.

It's beautiful Greek orthodox church worth a visit. The different twist this church offers is with its intriguing exterior that is a proof of this building's rich history. It was the first time I get to see a church with a minaret. A must visit...More

we hunted down this church as there was apparently an underground fountain and a palace by it - neither was remotely worth seeing and the minaret retained in the facinating history of a worship space founded Christian, later Muslim and now Christian again is intriguing...More
