Our flat had an unobstructed view to The White Mountains. It was amazing how their colour changed. We also had some great trips driving through them. Definitely a highlight for us.

This is probably our favorite area in Crete. The mountains are very impressive and pelnty of fine walks and good swims are there to take for dynamic visitors. Not to many people in September.

Mountains are very much part of the Cretan landscape and the White mountain range is very dramatic and imposing, and snow ridges clearly visible from afar

It is worth the car, ferry or bus journey to this beautiful corner of Crete - it is completely unspoilt and coming from London, feels like a heavenly paradise.
