We only stopped in Sitia for lunch but we found this fairly small but recently renovated museum just away from the town centre. It has been really well updated with attractions for children as well. It is probably not worth making a long detour just...More

We visited before the places of Kato Zakros and Mochlos. In this museum you can see what they found their. Not a big museum but a lot of interesting items. I can recommend this museum to everyone who is interested in the Cretan history.
