Even in ruins, it's easy to appreciate the majesty of this place. The site itself is full of information to read along the way, the view is spectacular, and the museum fills out the final bits of information from the rest of the site. Great...More

I had quite a few days in Athens (5) so was looking for extra things to do. So I booked the day tour to Delphi. I enjoyed it and the landscape on the journey was very interesting, through the mountains. The ruins aren't nearly impressive...More

This was our first stop when exploring Greece and it was an amazing well preserved site, not only the Temple but the theatre and the track were important to see. The setting of the Temple and the nearby museum added to the quality of our...More

What I liked about these ruins is they are not heavily restored. You are actually amongst ancient remains. A hard walk to the Stadium at the top on a hot day but well worth the effort.

We bought the combo ticket and paid a visit to the museum first. Highly recommend visitors do the same. We got to the ruins at 2:30pm in late May. It was 92 degrees, the site was crawling with school children on class field trips. The...More

We visited Delphi with a small group and had an excellent guide that made the entire experience much more rewarding. The Temple of Apollo, the Theater and the Stadium are easy enough to find on your own, but you can get a lot more out...More

Hire a taxi from port. You will be able to come and go as you like; Be sure to be back at port on time; Have him take you to a fine lunch along the way; Perhaps stop and look at icon painting as well. Enjoy

Hi I am planning to visit Delphi in April. Our flight lands at 12.45 and we were planning on hiring a car and driving straight there from the airport. I've seen the journey can take up to 2 1/2 hours. Realistically, if we arrived at 3.30 would we have enough time to view everything?

They close early at 2:45 during weekdays currently.
Hi, can you tell me where you parked? We are planning a trip, and will have only 2.5 hours to spend there, so we want it well planned! Any other tips would be helpful. Thanks!

Hello, I took the local bus up, but there appeared to be ample parking all within an easy walk of the site. Enjoy!
