Athens is a gorgeous city. Culture and legends abound, mythology seeked into her pores. Athens is an ideal walkers city, from Syntagma Square, parliament, the spectacle of the changing of the guards, just stroll and new sights and adventures will be your reward. I also highly recommend hiring a driver for the day. The cab we took from the airport... More

Our tour guide, Ermis, was so knowledgeable about all of the sites and the history of Athens. We really enjoyed him! We started the tour at the very beginning of the morning in Syntagma station then finished in the Acropolis museum. -Definitely wear walking shoes! There are various different tours you can book, some that end a little earlier, some... More

We joined our guide, Hermes, on a very informative walking tour through Athens. He was super knowledgeable on all things Greece, Athens, antiquities, and mythology. My only feedback is regarding the order of the tour: Parliament, Royal Garden, Temple of Zeus, and then Acropolis. By the time we hit the Acropolis it was closer to afternoon and it was packed... This tour is rated the best for a reason. The customer service is exceptional, and are very prompt at email correspondence. The organization, route, and scripts for the tour was excellent. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Bring bottled water and hat if hot. Thanks so much!

If you don't have too much time up your sleeve, or just want the basics on the Acropolis and the museum, this is the way to go. You'll come away with a better understanding of what you're looking at instead of just going "wow" all the time.

So much to see, so much to learn. Our walking tour guide, Artemis, made it a wonderful experience. She gave us a lot of clear historical details and insights along the way and her passion for the history and magistry of her country was evident. Was indeed a very worthwhile, well paced, 4 hour introduction to the key sites of... More

We arrived on time to find our guides at the appointed meeting place who welcomed us all with a smile and an introduction of what the tour entailed. They also gave us a last minute opportunity to purchase some water and use the WC facilities if needed on what was a very hot day. We were then split into two... More

We had the pleasure of booking a private walking tour of Athens through the Athens Walking Tour organization. Dorina Katsadoraki was the BEST host we could have asked for. She knew her stuff is quite the understatement. She was so well versed on the history, culture, vegetation, and made our tour one the highlights of our entire Greece trip. She... More

We were in Athens for 3 days and took a food tour on our last full day. After reading reviews, I was hoping to have Artemis as our guide and was delighted when she walked up and introduced herself. The next several hours were full of delicious treats and trivia and we learned some history as well as proper pronunciation... More
