This place has closed down. Disappointed that you did not have that information. It is situated in a small alley. Would like information about other places with genuine Greek music.

It's a lively place for Bouzuki style Greek music. Shows start late (as usual in Greece). Atmosphere is friendly and noicy, lot of music and singing, and locals are the majority of the crowed.

I love this place. It has the most amazing atmosphere, musicians and singers! takes you back to an era you weren't alive in... BUT it really has the worst food you can find in this city. Even the beer and wine are really bad. So...More

I lack the vocabulary to express how much we love this place. We go there whenever we are in Athens and wouldn't miss it for the world. Stoa Athanaton has been around for ages and is a temple of Greek music, especially rebetiko. Of all...More

Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is
grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from

underground stalls, the square is now mostly
frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The
most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set
off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually
coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a
