Very strategic street to stay (as hotel staying) close to all other main attractions and streets. You can find a lot of shoe shops and other medium range brands like H&M, Zara, Sephora, Ths Fashion, some better level brands are also available like Massimo Dutti...More

All the shopping you need in Athens is centered in that street. Some cafe to have a break along the way. Great shops on both sides of this no-cars street. 👍👍👍

This street is definately for shopaholics. You can find very expensive and cheap shops as well. The street is not so long and it is also a good option to walk along during the evening/night.

I really liked Ermou. It is a busy and vibrant Street with more shops than you could ever need. It is pedestrianised too which makes it easy to linger. It runs straight up to Syntagma from Monastiraki with all its eateries. I'm not particularly interested...More

Wonderful shopping and food shops and all very reasonable in price. Great quality leather shoes. Main tourist spot and wonderful feel for local Greek culture. Locals and tourists spill out onto chairs on the cobbled streets. Loved it!!

This is an area to shop and eat food. Lots of souvenir shops and variety of restaurants. Some stores are pretty pricey and beware of hustler.

Has all the High Street names. Did seem to specialize in shoe shops. Visited on a Sunday. Most the the shops were closed. Great for me.

This is an excellent part of town with many interesting things to see and do. Excellent restaurants, tavernas, and shoping.

Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a
difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the
Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized
streets surround the remains of both the Greek and
Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
