A place with a lot of interest, where anybody has to go. The most popular thing to do is to enjoy a virtual tour inside the ancient city of Athens, which is very teaching especially for the children. The place includes a small theatre, a very nice place for presentations or small conferences during the day.

We liked the toy exhibit but it was very hot in there due to bright spotlights. The movie on Greek history which was what really came for was super boring for children and adults. This place is not set up for English speakers--they tried to accommodate by having someone translate...but the movie was really slow. We have done the Time... More

Went with my 11 year old. 16 euro for the two of us for a 45 min movie in Greek with live simultaneous translation in English. IMAX type theatre, but using dated 10year old Minecraft-style graphics that most teens could improve upon. Three buttons for the "interactive" part of the movie that most non-Hellenics would never be able to answer.... More

This "Attraction" is far from Athens city center ( Thank god taxis are cheap there, is was about 8 Euros from the city center, 15 minutes drive). The complex looks new and attractive from the outside. When visiting, there was the "Michaelangelo" exhibition, so since we had more than an hour to the show we wanted to watch (about the... More

I have visited Hellenic Cosmos twice and the experience is awesome. You feel like you are in the "movie". It cannot be compared to 3D movies you watch at cinemas. This is much much better. I wonder how people give this place 1 out of 5 stars just because they didn't check the website which is in English too and... More

We arrived at this venue at 1030 only to find out the main exhibition was closed to the public due to school visits. We were told there were 2 exhibits we could go in to and charged €18 for a family of 3. We later found out this was the cost for one (small) exhibit. To do both was even... More

This is one of the most advanced virtual reality centres that focuses on humanities. It has 3D IMAX-style screens and one 360 degrees planetarium-type 'tholos' (vault screen) that offer an amazing entertaining and educational experience. It also houses cultural exhibitions (thus also a museum) and audiovisual halls for plays and concerts, conferences, exhibitions and spectacles with particular stage demands. Popular... More

It appeared to us that the staff see who turns up and put on whatever they think is appropriate. This means it might not be what is advertised! On the morning we went there were only four visitors so the planetarium type screen we went for wasn't showing. However we did get a show at their virtual reality set up... More

Always very nice exhibitions and theatre performances take place in Hellenic World. However, the tickets are expensive - dissapointed by the monster exhbition, as related to the ticket price, which took us less than 30 minutes to watch (interesting on the other hand). Another disadvantage is the area, where one may go only by car.
